Le Blockhaus — Torreilles Plage Nord — Pyrénées-Orientales. Most wild and unspoilt beach in the area. Wide sandy beach extending to the mouth of the River Agly. Scattered with WWII blockhaus ruins — remnants of coastal fortifications.
Dedicated kite zone to the left of the lifeguard post (baignade interdite, kite & glisse only). Spot for experienced riders — offshore Tramontane is the main wind and pushes out to sea. Jet-ski security on site April-September (paid, via Watersport66 beach club). Works by Marin/SE thermal too.
Beach club Le Blockhaus on site: bar/restaurant, concept "Grill yourself on the beach", nautical activities (paddle, pedalo, kayak). Electronic music brunch on Sundays ("Les Siestes Électroniques").
Le Blockhaus / Watersport66 — Beach club & water sports base on the spot. Paddle, pedalo, kite, kayak, fitness. Security jet-ski (paid) available May-September during offshore wind. Bar/restaurant on the beach.
Sandy bottom. Wide beach, relatively unspoilt. By Tramontane NW: offshore, flat close to shore, formed sea further out. By Marin/SE: onshore waves, can build nicely. Near Agly mouth: possible current. Water 14-16°C winter, 20-25°C summer.

Open all year round
Sailing year-round. Zone kite marked June to September — buoys on water, signage on beach. Lifeguard post open in season. Jet-ski security April-September. Best: summer thermals + Tramontane with safety cover.
Free parking with disabled parking. Showers, WC on site. Access by car. Beach club Le Blockhaus/Watersport66 right on the beach with bar/restaurant.
Offshore Tramontane (NW): dominant wind pushes out to sea — security jet-ski on site April-September (paid). Do not go out in Tramontane without safety cover. Ganivelles: dune-protecting posts on the beach — keep kite away when launching. Blockhaus ruins: WWII fortifications scattered on the beach. Embouchure de l'Agly: river mouth to the north — current can be strong, don't drift towards it. Summer crowds: curious beachgoers sometimes sit in the kite zone despite baignade interdite signage.
Tramontane (NW/NNW): main wind, offshore. Pushes rapidly out to sea. Jet-ski security on site (paid). Do not navigate without safety cover. Marin / SE Thermal: onshore, works well in summer afternoon. Less strong than at Canet/Pont des Basses. Wild spot atmosphere: less crowded than Canet, more natural setting with dune system and blockhaus ruins.
