Agios Prokopis is a stunning white sand beach on the west coast of Naxos, between Naxos Town and Mikri Vigla. Regularly ranked among the most beautiful beaches in Greece, Agios Prokopis combines an idyllic setting with decent kite conditions. The N/NNE Meltemi arrives side-shore on this west-facing coast. The beach is more touristy than Mikri Vigla, with beachfront hotels and restaurants. Kitesurfing is practiced on the less crowded parts of the beach.
Agios Prokopis works with the N/NNE Meltemi side-shore. Cohabitation with swimmers is the main challenge — the beach is very touristy. Sail on less crowded sections. Shallow water near shore. No dedicated kite center — riders come from Mikri Vigla or Naxos Town.

Crystal clear turquoise water, 22-26°C. Lycra or shorty. White sandy bottom. Shallow water, moderate chop further out. Weak current.
Roadside parking along the beach. Several hotels and restaurants with parking. Access from Naxos Town (10 min drive). Bus available in season.
N/NNE Meltemi side-shore on the west coast. 15-25 knots in summer, channeled between Paros and Naxos. Building at noon, peaking in afternoon. Conditions similar to Mikri Vigla but slightly less windy. Season from June to September.
Heavy tourist traffic — cohabitation with swimmers, pedal boats, boats. Side-shore wind can cause drift. Strong sun exposure. No specialized kite lifeguard.
