Pritzwald is a kitesurfing spot located on the south coast of the island of Rügen, in the Greifswalder Bodden bay, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This shallow and sheltered body of water offers ideal conditions for intermediate riders. The bottom is sandy and the water stays flat thanks to the natural protection of the island. The dominant winds come from the southwest and west, with good exposure to northeast winds as well. It is a spot appreciated by local kitesurfers for its tranquility and consistent conditions.
