Soroni Beach is a kitesurfing spot on the west coast of Rhodes, between Theologos and Kalavarda. This long, open beach benefits from the NW/W Meltemi side-onshore. Soroni offers a less touristy setting than spots in the north of the island, with a more authentic atmosphere. Soroni village is known for its annual festival (Souma feast) and uncrowded beaches. The spot suits intermediate riders seeking west coast conditions in a quiet environment.

NW to W Meltemi, side-onshore on this west coast. Typical strength of 15-25 knots in summer, with afternoon thermal reinforcement. Wind is slightly more moderate than in the Ixia corridor to the north. Good reliability from June to September, particularly July-August. Classic Meltemi cycle: building at noon, peaking in afternoon.
Wind can reach 25-30 knots. Pebbles on the beach. Isolated spot — sail with a partner. Coastal current. Strong sun exposure. Little rescue nearby.
