The Geierswalder See is a lake located in Saxony, in the Lusatia region. This lake, converted from a former lignite mine, offers a modern body of water for kitesurfing. West and southwest winds dominate. The lake offers a flat and extensive body of water, suitable for beginners and intermediate riders. The Geierswalder See is part of the new Lusatian lakeland.
