Santa Maria is a stunning bay on the northeast coast of Paros, near Naoussa. This north-facing white sand beach receives the N/NNE Meltemi directly onshore, offering chop and small wave conditions. Santa Maria is known as one of the most beautiful beaches on Paros with its crystal clear waters. The spot is popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing, with a well-exposed riding area. Proximity to Naoussa, the charming fishing village, adds to the appeal.
Santa Maria works with the N/NNE Meltemi onshore. The bay offers a good riding area with chop. Onshore wind ensures safety — it pushes back to the beach. Cohabitation with swimmers and beach activities in high season. Some water sports centers offer lessons and rental. Works from June to September.

Onshore wind creates short chop in the bay. Building at noon, peaking in afternoon. Reliable season from June to September.
Short powerful chop tiring in strong onshore. Cohabitation with swimmers in high season. Meltemi can exceed 25 knots. Strong sun and reflection.
