Nissakia Loutsa is a spot on the east coast of Attica, in the Artemida/Loutsa area, facing the Aegean Sea. This beach receives the N/NNE Meltemi as side-onshore, offering good summer conditions for kitesurfing and wingfoil.
Located between Rafina and Vravrona, this spot is part of the string of east Attica coast beaches that benefit directly from Meltemi exposure. Less known than Schinias, it offers a less crowded alternative.
Sessions from late morning to sunset during Meltemi season (June-September). Water is moderately protected by offshore islets (Petalioi). Conditions suited for intermediates. In light wind, good for foil and wingfoil.
Semi-open water. In moderate Meltemi, chop of 20-50cm. Sandy bottom with rocky areas — scout the zone before sailing. Clear water. Temperature: 22-26°C in summer.

Open all year round
Parking along the Artemida/Loutsa coastal road. Residential area with parking in adjacent streets. Small shops and tavernas nearby. Accessible from Athens in 35-40 min via Attiki Odos. Less touristy area than the Riviera, easier parking.
Submerged rocks in some areas. Coastal currents in strong Meltemi. Pleasure boats. Some sea urchins on bottom rocks. Less lifeguard coverage than large organized beaches.
N/NNE Meltemi side-onshore, 12-22 knots in summer. Wind is reliable from June to September, with strongest conditions in July-August. In the afternoon, thermal reinforces the synoptic Meltemi. The spot can also work with E/ENE thermal on days without strong Meltemi.
