Theologos is a kitesurfing spot on the west coast of Rhodes, about 20km south of Rhodes Town. Theologos (Tholos) village is a peaceful resort area with a long pebble beach exposed to the Meltemi. The spot is less crowded than the Ixia-Ialissos area to the north, offering more riding space. Wind from NW to W arrives side-onshore to onshore, creating chop and small wave conditions typical of Rhodes' west coast.
Theologos works with the NW/W Meltemi side-onshore. Open riding area with moderate chop. Fewer water sports centers than the Ixia zone — some local schools offer lessons and rental. The long beach offers plenty of space. Trees near the beach can create turbulence — launch/land in a clear area. Works from June to September.
Open all year round

Turbulence near the beach from downwind trees. Wind can reach 25-30 knots. Pebbles — booties recommended. Breakwaters in some areas — marked with buoys. Coastal current. Strong sun exposure.
