Glyfada is a sandy beach on the southwest coast of Naxos, south of Kastraki and Mikri Vigla. This lesser-known beach offers a preserved natural setting with white sand and turquoise waters. The N/NNE Meltemi arrives side-shore on this west coast, often with strength comparable to Mikri Vigla. Glyfada is a good choice for riders seeking tranquility while staying on Naxos' windy coast. A few discrete accommodations in the area.
