Spot de Mastichari / Kos

Mastichari / Kos

Mastichari / Kos

Overview

Mastichari is the main kitesurfing spot on the north coast of Kos, facing Kalymnos island. This small fishing port benefits from direct exposure to the northern Meltemi with a Venturi effect between Kos and Kalymnos that accelerates the wind. The sandy beach west of the port offers shallow water over a large area, ideal for learning. One of the most reliable spots on Kos for wind.
