Northeast, east, west and northwest give the best windows — cross-shore conditions on this east-facing inner bay. The Presqu'île de Crozon to the south creates offshore conditions in northeast wind. The Rade is partially sheltered — wind inside can differ significantly from open coast forecasts. Thermal cycle reliable in summer.
