Overview

Klausenhorn is located in Dingelsdorf, on the north shore of Lake Constance (Bodensee) in the Landkreis Konstanz. Authorized kite zone from March 1 to November 30, 500m offshore zone. Spot exposed to good west wind and Föhn conditions. Launch zone east of the beach (jollenslipstelle — dinghy launch ramp). Warning: permit required: Sondergenehmigung (Schifffahrtsamt Landkreis Konstanz, tel. 07531 800-1980). Active zone: March 1 – November 30.

Hazards
Sudden Föhn and summer storms — imperatively monitor weather alerts. Kite strictly prohibited outside the marked zone. Launch space limited to the jollenslipstelle (dinghy launch ramp). No kiting at night or in poor visibility. Respect fishermen and boat traffic.
