Spot de Santa Manza

Santa Manza

Santa Manza

Overview

Santa Manza is probably the wildest kite spot in the Bonifacio area, a large natural bay between Balistra (north) and the Bonifacio cliffs (south). Located 15 minutes from Bonifacio and 30 minutes from Porto-Vecchio.

The spot offers flat water with good chop when the wind blows strong. By NE wind, it delivers excellent freestyle/freeride conditions with bump & jump and slalom potential. The bay is wide and open, creating great conditions for intermediate to advanced riders.

No infrastructure: wild, natural, with a convivial atmosphere among the few riders who know the spot. Small beaches on the right side of the bay for launching.

Hazards

Very wild spot with no infrastructure — self-sufficient riders only. Dévente near the beach makes launch tricky. Limited launch space. Shallow rocks at the launch area. In summer, heavy motorboat traffic in the gulf. Never go alone.
