Overview

Soulac-sur-Mer is a kitesurf spot at the northern tip of the Médoc peninsula, at the mouth of the Gironde estuary. The beach faces west and benefits from northwest and west dominant winds. The proximity of the Gironde estuary creates specific current patterns and sandbanks. A charming Belle Époque resort town with a rich wind sports history.
