Plage de l'Espérance is a kitesurf spot on the east coast of the Île d'Oléron (Charente-Maritime), in the sheltered Pertuis d'Antioche channel. This beach catches South-West and West winds that penetrate into the channel from the open Atlantic.

Tidal spot with flat water conditions sheltered from ocean swell. The east coast of Île d'Oléron offers calmer conditions than the exposed west coast. Good for learning and intermediate riders. Oyster farming is a major activity on this side of the island — respect marked zones and boat traffic.
