Vauville is a kitesurf spot on the north-west tip of the Cotentin peninsula (Manche), near Cap de la Hague — one of the most exposed and windiest points on the Normandy coast. The cape orientation creates a biaxial wind pattern: North-East to East-North-East offshore winds when high pressure dominates, and South to South-West onshore Atlantic winds.

Tidal spot. The Cap de la Hague area is known for very strong tidal currents and powerful winds — experienced riders only. The COGEMA nuclear reprocessing plant is nearby; respect any restricted zones. A wild and dramatic spot for advanced riders seeking strong conditions.
