Overview

The Plaine de Mâcon / La Saône is a kitesurf spot along the Saône river near Mâcon at 169m altitude (Saône-et-Loire). The wide, flat plain is perfectly oriented to channel the dominant north and south winds that blow along the Saône valley axis.

The river here is wide enough for kitesurfing in good wind conditions. An accessible spot for riders from the Mâcon and Lyon area.
