Launch at mid to low tide — at high tide with large coefficients the beach is very small. The Fromentine passage generates strong tidal currents — always check tide and plan your return. Self-organised outside the marked zone in off-season.

Flat to slightly choppy water, influenced by the Fromentine tidal passage. Strong tidal currents — always plan sessions relative to tide. Sandy bottom. Beach very wide at low tide, very narrow at high tide with large coefficients. South to northwest winds give cross to cross-onshore conditions.

South to northwest winds cover a very wide window — this spot works in almost all Atlantic conditions. The beach faces northwest giving good exposure. Summer thermal cycle is consistent. The Fromentine passage can create local wind effects when tidal currents are strong.
