Les Pêcheurs — Étang de Leucate — between La Mine and Le Goulet, west shore of the étang. Windsurf-only spot — kite prohibited. Quieter, wilder atmosphere.
One of the few étang spots with deeper water and bigger chop. If you're after a quieter session away from the crowds, Les Pêcheurs delivers. Conditions similar to La Mine but with more depth and bigger waves. Freeriders love the long reaches.
Opposite the Île des Pêcheurs holiday village (UCPA).
No club on spot. Nearby: Wesh Center Crew (WCC) on Le Goulet. Quieter alternative to the more popular étang spots.

Year-round. Tramontane dominant. Wild spot, no facilities.
Intermediate
Étang water. Deeper than most étang spots — one of the few with real depth. Bigger chop, excellent for jumping on both tacks. Waterstart required. Tramontane NW: side-on.
Access via bumpy track — limits crowds. Small parking area. Wild spot, no facilities. UCPA Île des Pêcheurs holiday village nearby.
Tramontane (NW/NNW): same power zone as Le Goulet. Side-on. Long reaches to west bank. Marin/SE: also sailable. Kite strictly prohibited — windsurf, wingfoil, windfoil only.
Kite FORBIDDEN — windsurf, wingfoil, windfoil only. Deeper water than most étang spots — waterstart required. Bigger chop. Wilder, more isolated — no safety on spot.
