Pointe du Hourdel is a kitesurf spot at the tip of the Baie de Somme (Somme), a narrow sandy peninsula that closes the southern side of the Somme estuary. The point is well oriented for West-South-West to North-West winds blowing across the open bay.

The Hourdel point offers a unique setting with seals often visible on nearby sandbanks. Very large tidal range — the bay nearly empties at low tide. Currents can be strong at the tip — riders must be very aware of tidal movements. A spectacular natural spot in a protected nature reserve area.
