Plage du Mahury is a kitesurfing spot at the mouth of the Mahury River, near Cayenne in French Guiana. This spot can only be sailed during falling tide due to strong currents.

Wind is mainly from the southeast in dry season and north in rainy season. Trade winds blow at 15-25 knots. Water is warm but brown. Beware of strong currents that can pull riders offshore in case of trouble.

The spot is not recommended for beginners due to dangerous currents. Reserved for advanced riders familiar with local conditions.
