La Brée is a kitesurf spot on the north coast of the Ile d'Oléron near La Brée-les-Bains, facing northeast towards the mainland. The sheltered east-facing beach works well in northeast and east winds, giving flat to slightly choppy water. A calm alternative when the west coast is too exposed. Beginner to intermediate level.
