Overview

Le Havre is a kitesurf spot on the southern beach of Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), facing south across the Seine estuary toward Honfleur. This urban beach catches South, South-South-West and South-West winds blowing from the open estuary — an unusual orientation compared to most Normandy spots.

Tidal spot. The Seine estuary and Le Havre port area have very heavy maritime traffic — strictly respect navigation rules and stay well away from the port entrance and shipping lanes. An urban kitesurf spot in one of France's major port cities.
