Zuydcoote is a kitesurf spot on the Flemish coast near Dunkirk (Nord), between Bray-Dunes and the Belgian border. This wide sandy beach on the North Sea faces north, well exposed to North-East, West and North-West winds. Famous historically as part of the Dunkirk evacuation beaches in 1940.
Large tidal range with a vast flat beach. The North Sea coast here produces reliable and often strong winds. Shallow water ideal for kitesurfing. Good spot for experienced riders in a wild and historic setting.
