Spot de

Overview

Pointe du Lizay is a kitesurf spot on the north-west coast of the Île de Ré (Charente-Maritime), close to Saint-Clément-des-Baleines. This point on the northern side of the island catches winds from a broad arc: North-East, East, South-West, West and North-West — one of the most versatile spots on the island.

Ocean spot with tidal exposure. The north coast of Île de Ré faces the Pertuis Breton channel. Tidal currents can be significant. Wide sandy beach at low tide. A good spot for a variety of wind directions on this beautiful Atlantic island.
