Riva-Bella is a kitesurf spot on the beach at Ouistreham / Riva-Bella (Calvados), at the entrance to the Orne canal and the port of Caen. This north-facing beach catches the classic onshore winds for this coast: North-East and North-West.

Tidal spot. Be very aware of boat traffic entering and exiting the Orne canal locks — this is a busy ferry and commercial port. Stay well clear of the navigation channel. Sandy beach with good access from Ouistreham.
