Cabourg is a kitesurf spot at the famous belle-époque seaside resort on the Côte Fleurie (Calvados), made famous by Marcel Proust. The beach faces north and catches a wide arc of winds including North through North-East and West-South-West through North-West — making it one of the more wind-reliable spots on the Calvados coast.

Tidal spot. Busy tourist resort in summer — respect designated kite zones and avoid swimming areas. Good infrastructure with all resort amenities nearby.
