Franceville is a kitesurf spot at Merville-Franceville-Plage (Calvados), very close to the Merville-Franceville-Plage port spot. The beach catches winds from both sides: North-East and South-West to West, making it one of the more versatile spots on this section of the Côte de Nacre/Côte Fleurie boundary.

Tidal spot. Watch for the port channel and hunting reserve restrictions to the west (same precautions as the neighbouring Merville-Franceville-Plage spot). Sandy beach with good space at low tide.
