Odé Vraz beach is the eastern section of the Keremma beachfront, at the entrance to the Baie du Kernic. Traditional main access point via the Odé Vraz campsite. Same characteristics as the main Keremma beach — flat water, lagoon colours — with the added benefit of proximity to Kernic bay as a flat-water refuge in strong wind, and small waves on the sandbars at the bay mouth in W/NW swell. FFVL labelled. Managed by FKA.
FFVL labelled. FKA (Finistère Kite Association) manages the spot. AvelWest school active on the zone.
From Plouescat, follow signs for Keremma / Maison des Dunes / Camping d'Odé Vraz. Warning: car park floods above coefficient 80 — check tide times before parking. Alternative: main Keremma car parks to the west.
Works at all tides. Preference for low tide and NE wind. At mid rising tide: standing depth almost everywhere, ideal for beginners. At high tide: more pronounced shorebreak.
Flat water, lagoon colours. Rocks visible at low tide — easy to spot. To the east (Kernic bay entrance): sandbars with small waves in W/NW swell, but strong current at the mouth — do not approach at tide change.

Open all year round
Car park floods above coefficient 80 — check tide times. Strong current at the Kernic bay mouth (east side) — zone to avoid. Goulven ornithological reserve (west): navigation forbidden.
Optimal conditions: west (cross-onshore port tack), northwest (side-on port), northeast (side-on starboard), east (cross-onshore starboard). Thermal cycle starts northeast and often finishes easterly. Very good wind consistency on this exposed north coast. Northwest is the dominant and most powerful direction — full Atlantic fetch.
