Middle Beach is a kitesurfing spot located near Dunedin, in the Otago region, on the south-east coast of the South Island. The beach faces east, towards the Pacific Ocean. North-east winds are cross-shore and the most frequent. South to south-west winds are side-shore to onshore. Pacific swell is present. The bottom is sandy. The water is cold. Spot for intermediate riders.
