Milford is a residential beach on Auckland's North Shore, located between Takapuna and Castor Bay. Facing east towards the Hauraki Gulf, this small sandy beach offers a calm body of water sheltered by Rangitoto Island. NE winds (summer sea breeze) work well here. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates but space is limited. Residential atmosphere with a few cafes. Tides affect the water conditions.
