Harwood is a kitesurfing spot located on the Otago Peninsula, near Dunedin. The spot is on the inner side of Otago Harbour, offering a semi-sheltered body of water. North-east winds are the most frequent and blow along the harbour. South-west winds also work. The harbour offers partial protection from swell. Tides and harbour currents should be monitored. The bottom is sandy and muddy. Spot for intermediate riders.
