Motukaraka Island is a spot located in the Beachlands bay, on the east coast of Auckland. This body of water in the Hauraki Gulf offers calm sailing conditions around the island, with a sandy bottom. NE and E winds work well here. The spot is suitable for intermediates. Watch out for tidal currents around the island and shallow areas at low tide.
