Courtice Beach is a quiet spot on Lake Ontario's north shore in the Municipality of Clarington. The beach faces south with open fetch across the lake. Less crowded than Toronto spots, offering more space to ride.
Access via trail from the parking lot. Narrow beach with sand and pebble launch. South and southwest winds provide the best riding conditions.
Open lake water facing south. Freshwater, moderate chop in south winds. Sand and pebble bottom, gradual depth. Water colder than Toronto beaches early season due to bottom currents.
