Spot located on Oshawa's waterfront at Lakeview Park Beach. This municipal beach faces south on Lake Ontario with open fetch over 50 km. South and southwest winds generate good chop for riding.
Easy access from the park parking lot. Sandy beach with comfortable launch. The spot is rideable from May to October, with best conditions June through September when summer thermals are active.
Open lake water facing south. Freshwater with moderate to strong chop in south winds. Sandy bottom, gradual depth. Pleasant water temperatures in summer (18-22°C July through September).
