Spot located on Oshawa's waterfront at Lakeview Park Beach. This municipal beach faces south on Lake Ontario with open fetch over 50 km. South and southwest winds generate good chop for riding.
Easy access from the park parking lot. Sandy beach with comfortable launch. The spot is rideable from May to October, with best conditions June through September when summer thermals are active.

Chop can be strong in sustained south winds. Possible shore currents. Boat traffic near the harbour. Cold water in spring — full wetsuit required May through July. Sudden summer thunderstorms possible.
