Lake water facing south. Freshwater, moderate to strong chop depending on wind strength. Sandy bottom, gradual depth. Spacious riding area in front of the park beach.

Hazards

Provincial park access is paid — check opening hours. Respect marked swimming areas in summer. McLaughlin Bay is a nature reserve — riding prohibited in that area. Cold water in spring.
