Ocean conditions with good regular swell. Sandy bottom with some rocks. Cold water year-round — full wetsuit essential (5/4mm in winter, 4/3mm in summer). Significant tide. Quality waves for surfing and kitesurfing.

Hazards

Rocks in the water in some areas. Coastal and rip currents. Shore break. Cold water — hypothermia risk. Kitesurfing sometimes restricted in summer — check local regulations. Limited parking.
