Watchorn Bay is a kitesurf spot located on Lake Manitoba, in the province of Manitoba. This body of water is part of the vast Canadian prairies lake network and offers good wind conditions thanks to the exposure to dominant northwest winds. Lake Manitoba is one of the largest lakes in Manitoba, offering significant fetch that generates chop and sometimes small waves in sustained winds. Watchorn Bay offers relatively easy water access with shallow areas near the shore. The sailing season runs from June to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate riders. Dominant northwest and west winds blow regularly over the Manitoba prairies.
