Blue Lagoon is a kitesurf spot located on Lake St. Clair, in southeastern Michigan, near the mouth of the St. Clair River. This spot offers access to Lake St. Clair's vast water body in a relatively sheltered area. The evocative spot name suggests an area with calmer, turquoise waters. The shallow lake warms quickly in summer, offering pleasant conditions for kitesurfing and wingfoiling.

Lake St. Clair water body, very shallow with flat water to short chop conditions. Water warms well in summer, allowing riding in a shorty from June to September. Sandy bottom. Relatively sheltered area with less rough conditions than the center of the lake. St. Clair River current can influence conditions in this northern area of the lake.
Very shallow lake — risk of hitting the bottom. Very heavy boat traffic in summer on Lake St. Clair. Current from the nearby St. Clair River. Commercial shipping channel — never cross it. Violent thunderstorms possible with lightning risk — exit water immediately. Water can be turbid in some areas.
