Silver Harbour, located near the village of Arnes on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg, is a small natural harbour offering interesting kitesurfing conditions. Positioned between Gimli to the south and Riverton to the north, the spot benefits from Lake Winnipeg's immense fetch for east and southeast winds. The Arnes area is known for its sandy beaches and relatively sheltered waters within the harbour, with direct access to the open lake for more committed sessions.
Freshwater body. The harbour area is relatively protected with calmer water. Outside the harbour, full lake exposure with fetch exceeding 60 km in east winds. Short, steep chop. Sandy bottom. Progressive depth from the beach.
