Le Jaï — a sand strip between the Berre and Bolmon lagoons, in the commune of Marignane. Home spot of the Kite13 association. Classified as a Natura 2000 zone, a site with wild character and spirit of freedom. Navigation zone: 300m wide by about 20m deep. Ground: grass and sand. Flat water spot in Mistral (onshore) — dominant reference wind. Summer W thermal side-onshore. Possible in S but offshore (dangerous without safety boat). Around 30+ knots possible in Mistral: memorable sessions!

Access: by road coming from Marignane, direction lagoons. Rig and sail in the area delimited by the mud channel. 117 avenue Henri Fabre, 13700 Marignane. Mistral N/NNW: onshore, reference wind — ideal flat water. Wind often powerful and gusty. W (summer thermal): side-onshore, works well. S: OFFSHORE — dangerous without safety boat. Also possible for surfkite and foil.
