Overview

Fuschlsee is a small alpine lake at 664 m altitude in the Salzkammergut, east of Salzburg. The Hofer Strandbad is the main spot for water sports. The lake is about 4 km long. Thermal winds develop in the afternoon during summer. The water is exceptionally pure with drinking water quality. The setting is very pleasant in the Salzkammergut hills.
