Finiki Beach is a spot on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese in Messenia, south of Pylos. This beach faces west toward the Ionian Sea, receiving the NW Maestro as side-onshore. More southern and wilder position than the Navarino spots to the north.
The lower Messenia coast is magnificent, with isolated beaches, cliffs, and preserved nature. Finiki offers kitesurfing conditions in a spectacular and uncrowded setting.
Afternoon sessions with the NW Maestro. Isolated spot — always sail in groups. Open sea conditions with possible waves. Fewer people than the more touristic spots to the north.
Open water with waves and chop in Maestro. Sandy and rocky bottom. Crystal-clear water. Temperature: 22-26°C in summer.

Open all year round
Access via secondary roads from the Pylos-Methoni main road. Limited, informal parking. Wild area with few services — bring water and food. Methoni (Venetian fortress) nearby is worth a visit.
Isolated spot — distant rescue. Rocks and cliffs along the coast. Coastal currents. Shore break in swell. Only sail in groups with a waterproof phone.
NW Maestro side-onshore, 12-20 knots in summer. More southern position than Gialova/Romanos, wind can be slightly different with more influence from local thermal breezes. The indented coast can create cape effects and local accelerations.
