Zack's Bay is a very popular kitesurf spot located on the bay side of Jones Beach Island, on Long Island's south shore. This flat and shallow body of water is one of the most popular spots in the area for learning and progression. The flat water conditions make it an ideal location for beginners and riders of all levels.

Flat and shallow body of water, ideal for learning. Calm water with very little chop even in sustained winds thanks to the barrier island protection. Sandy bottom allowing standing in much of the bay. Light tidal currents.
Low tide can expose very shallow areas. Light tidal currents. Possible boat traffic in the channel. Very crowded spot in summer – watch out for other kitesurfers. Jellyfish possible in summer.
