Stege is a spot in Stege Bugt bay, on the northwest coast of Møn island. Sheltered bay offering shallow flat water, ideal for freestyle. Works in west to northwest winds. Spot requiring local knowledge — contact Møn Water Sports or the local group before riding.
Open all year round
Intermediate
Flat to slightly choppy water in the sheltered bay. Shallow water with large standing area. No tidal influence. In easterly winds, a notable current develops through the Ulvsund towards the Møn bridge — choppier conditions in the canal.
Fishing nets in the water — real hazard for lines. Road immediately behind the small beach — very limited space for launch/landing. Small launch area. Talk to a local before going on the water (spot guide recommendation).
