Dueodde is the southern tip of Bornholm, famous for 10 km of beach with sand so fine it was once used in hourglasses. The main kite area is west of the lighthouse. The spot offers a dual character: a shallow lagoon for flat water and beach break waves on the open sea side. Nature reserve.

Shallow areas and flat water in the natural lagoon that forms on the beach. Chop to 1-3 m waves on the open sea side in sustained SW/W winds. Sandbanks with quick transition to deep water. Water from 4°C (winter) to 22°C (August).
Strong currents, especially on the western part and around the southern point in SW/W winds. Big stones in the water. Swimmers in summer (June-August). Seaweed that can hinder lines. Rapid depth transitions from sandbanks.
