Waves on the open east-facing coast in easterly winds. Inland lake offering flat water as an alternative. Sandy bottom. Waves can be significant, requiring wind for comfortable riding. Cool Baltic water.
Westerly (offshore) winds are gusty and dangerous for inexperienced riders — they push out to sea into Faxe Bay. Waves can be powerful in strong easterly winds. Paid site access (day pass ~50 DKK or annual ~650 DKK).
