Smidstrup Strand is a beach of about 500 meters long on the north coast of Zealand, between Gilleleje and Rågeleje on the Kattegat. The beach offers fine golden sand mixed with rocky areas. Access is via small roads between holiday houses and pine trees. Parking available at Smidstrup Søvej with toilets.
Varied bottom with rocky sections and sandbars. Rip channels in the seabed. Seaweed on rocks. Waves in northwest sector winds typical of the Kattegat north coast.

Rocky bottom in places with seaweed, caution in shallow water. Swimmers and lifeguards present in summer during school holidays. Currents in the seabed rip channels.
