Munkerup is an expert wave spot on the north coast of Zealand, 2 km west of Dronningmølle and 4 km east of Gilleleje. It's one of the "five pearls" of the north coast, offering epic waves in crystal clear water in north-northwest winds. The spot demands solid experience and is not suitable for beginners.

Strong eastward current that can pull riders along the coast. Unstable, gusty inland wind. It's recommended to master the other north coast spots before attempting Munkerup. Dangerous spot for inexperienced riders.
