Bulbjerg is a spectacular spot on the North Sea / Skagerrak coast, dominated by the Bulbjerg limestone cliff (47 m), the only rock outcrop on the west coast of Jutland. Advanced spot with powerful wave conditions. The cliff creates wind acceleration effects (venturi). Recommended to ride toward Lild Strand rather than directly in front of the cliff in strong conditions.
Powerful North Sea / Skagerrak waves. Violent shore break above 25 knots. Sandy bottom with rocks and reef in front of the cliff. Strong currents, becoming "river-like" in strong northwest pressure. Cold water — full wetsuit mandatory.
